Op de slotceremonie van het Internationaal Filmfestival van Veneti\u00eb heeft <em>&#8216;Home&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Fien Troch<\/strong> vanavond de Prijs voor Beste Regie gewonnen in de Orrizonti-nevencompetitie. De regisseuse was zelf aanwezig om in het Palazzo del Cinema de onderscheiding in ontvangst te nemen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Toen we het nieuws van de selectie vernamen was het al feest, maar nu is het hek helemaal van de dam&#8221;, reageert Fien Troch vanuit Veneti\u00eb. &#8220;Je werkt jaren aan een project en dan is zo&#8217;n prijs een zeer welkome garantie dat je film een mooi leven tegemoet gaat.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_90656\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-90656\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/fien-trochs-home-wint-beste-regie-op-filmfestival-van-venetie\/filipvanroe_q6a1840-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-90656\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-90656\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/\u00a9FilipVanRoe_Q6A18401-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/\u00a9FilipVanRoe_Q6A18401-800x533.jpg 800w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/\u00a9FilipVanRoe_Q6A18401-405x270.jpg 405w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-90656\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">foto Filip Van Roe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Na <em>&#8216;Een ander zijn geluk&#8217;, &#8216;Unspoken&#8217;<\/em> en<em> &#8216;Kid&#8217;<\/em> volgt Troch in haar vierde speelfilm een groep tieners en de volwassenen die hen omringen. In die gemeenschap van worstelende generaties arriveert de 17-jarige Kevin. Hij komt inwonen bij zijn tante en haar gezin en leert zo via zijn neef Sammy diens vriend John kennen die klem zit in een moeilijke thuissituatie. Wanneer op een avond het noodlot toeslaat, dirigeren vragen van verraad, vertrouwen en loyauteit meer dan ooit hun levens.<\/p>\n<p>Samen met 17 andere speelfilms maakte &#8216;Home&#8217; deel uit van de Orizzonti Competitie, een staalkaart van de meest recente trends in internationale cinema. De Jury bestond dit jaar uit Frans regisseur <strong>Robert Gu\u00e9diguian<\/strong>, Amerikaans filmhistoricus en -criticus <strong>Jim Hoberman<\/strong>, de Egyptische actrice <strong>Nelly Karim<\/strong>, de Italiaanse actrice <strong>Valentina Lodovini<\/strong>, de Koreaanse actrice en regisseuse <strong>Moon So-ri<\/strong>, Spaans filmcriticus en professor <strong>Jos\u00e9 Maria (Chema) Prado<\/strong> en de Indiase regisseur <strong>Chaitanya Tamhane<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_90657\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-90657\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/fien-trochs-home-wint-beste-regie-op-filmfestival-van-venetie\/filipvanroe_q6a1898-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-90657\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-90657\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/\u00a9FilipVanRoe_Q6A18981-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/\u00a9FilipVanRoe_Q6A18981-400x600.jpg 400w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/\u00a9FilipVanRoe_Q6A18981-180x270.jpg 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-90657\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Foto Filip Van Roe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8216;Home&#8217; werd in Veneti\u00eb enthousiast onthaald door zowel publiek, pers als professionals. Zo schreef het Internationale vakblad Screen International: &#8220;Troch benadert dit complex materiaal zelfzeker en slaagt er in om overtuigende vertolkingen uit de volledige cast te halen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Voor de hoofdrollen werd heel wat jong Belgisch filmtalent gecast, waaronder <strong>Sebastian Van Dun<\/strong>, <strong>Mistral Guidotti<\/strong>, <strong>Lo\u00efc Batog<\/strong> en <strong>Lena Suijkerbuijk<\/strong>. Daarnaast zijn er ook rollen weggelegd voor <strong>Karlijn Sileghem<\/strong>, <strong>Robbie Cleiren<\/strong> en <strong>Jeroen Perceval<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Troch schreef het scenario van<em> &#8216;Home&#8217;<\/em> samen met <strong>Nico Leunen<\/strong>, die ook instond voor de montage. Bij ons brengt het Film Fest Gent de film in avant-premi\u00e8re. Distributeur Cin\u00e9art brengt de film begin januari 2017 in de Belgische zalen. Het in Parijs gevestigde Doc &amp; Film verzorgt de internationale verkoop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Antonino Lombardo<\/strong> produceerde &#8216;Home&#8217; voor Prime Time, in coproductie met Versus Production. De film kon rekenen op steun van het VAF.
