Bij de animatiefilms sleepten <em>&#8216;No Offence&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Kris Borghs<\/strong> , &#8216;<em>He &amp; Sea&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Kris Genijn<\/strong> en <strong>Pieter Vanluffelen<\/strong>\u00a0 en<em> &#8216;Beast&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Pieter Coudyzer<\/strong> een Ensornominatie in de wacht.<\/p>\n<p>In de categorie Documentaire werden<a title=\"Trailer \u2018The Land of the Enlightened\u2019\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/trailer-the-land-the-enlightened\"><em> &#8216;The Land of \u00a0the Enlightened&#8217;<\/em><\/a> van <strong>Pieter-Jan De Pue<\/strong> , <a title=\"Trailer \u2018Reach for the Sky\u2019\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/trailer-reach-for-the-sky\"><em>&#8216;Reach for the sky&#8217;<\/em> <\/a>van <strong>Steven Dhoedt<\/strong> en <strong>Wooyoung Choi<\/strong> en <a title=\"Trailer \u2018WIM\u2019 van Lut Vandekeybus\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/trailer-wim-lut-vandekeybus\"><em>&#8216;Wim&#8217;<\/em> <\/a>van <strong>Lut Vandekeybus<\/strong>\u00a0 genomineerd. In de documentaire &#8211; jury zetelden documentaire &#8211; regisseurs <strong>Eva K\u00fcpper<\/strong> en<strong> Kristof Bilsen<\/strong> samen met <strong>Simon Vreebos<\/strong>; die \u00a0laatste is verantwoordelijk voor het aanbod op Canvas. \u00a0Op vrijdagavond 16 september worden de nominaties verzilverd met een Ensor tijdens het Gala van de Ensors in het Kursaal van Oostende waar tevens ook alle andere Ensorbeelden worden uitgereikt.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_90218\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-90218\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/nominaties-voor-ensors-kortfilms-en-documentaire-bekend\/screen-shot-2015-07-31-at-10-13-44-800x336-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-90218\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-90218\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-31-at-10.13.44-800x3361.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-31-at-10.13.44-800x3361.jpg 800w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/08\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-31-at-10.13.44-800x3361-480x201.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-90218\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Charlotte Vandermeersch en Peter Van den Eede in &#8216;Barst&#8217;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8216;Barst&#8217; van Koen Van Sande is een komedie met o.a. <strong>Peter Van den Eede<\/strong> en <strong>Charlotte Vandermeersch<\/strong> over een doordeweeks Vlaams koppel dat terecht komt met hun dure BMW in een Arabisch Brusselse wijk. &#8216;Shadow&#8217; van B\u00fclent Ozt\u00fcrk vertelt het verhaal van een Koerdisch tienermeisje dat samen met haar familie op haar vader wacht .. tot het noodlot toeslaat en ze een moeilijke beslissing moet nemen. Kris Borghs maakte de animatiefilm &#8216;No Offense&#8217; over een aantal cartoonisten die voor een macaber tribunaal verschijnen. Telkens wanneer \u00e9\u00e9n van de juryleden zich door een cartoon beledigd voelt, wordt de maker onherroepelijk ge\u00ebxecuteerd. De laatste in de rij probeert stiekem zijn doodvonnis te ontglippen. &#8216;He &amp; Sea&#8217; van Kris Genijn en Pieter Vanluffelen brengt het verhaal van een man, geboren uit de zee, op zoek naar zijn herkomst. Hoe dichter hij bij zijn doel komt, hoe meer hij zichzelf verliest. Tenslotte is er ook &#8216;Beast&#8217; van Pieter Coudyzer over een ontroerende vriendschap tussen een dronken zwerver en een buitenaards beest. De eenzaamheid van een haveloze, door de maatschappij uitgespuwde landloper wordt verlicht door een wel heel onverwachte bezoeker. \u00a0Deze drie kortfilms zijn toevalligerwijze allemaal producties van het productiehuis S.O.I.L van <strong>Geert Van Goethem<\/strong> en <strong>Linda Sterckx<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_90219\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-90219\" style=\"width: 720px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/nominaties-voor-ensors-kortfilms-en-documentaire-bekend\/1-1-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-90219\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-90219\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/08\/1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/08\/1-1.jpg 720w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/08\/1-1-480x186.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-90219\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">&#8216;Beast&#8217; van Pieter Coudyzer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In de categorie Documentaire viel de keuze voor de nominaties op &#8216;The Land of \u00a0the Enlightened&#8217; van Pieter-Jan De Pue, dat na de start van zijn carri\u00e8re op het Amerikaanse\u00a0 Sundance Film Festival al een hele weg heeft afgelegd en recentelijk ook nog op de shortlist van de European Film Awards kwam. Pieter-Jan werkte meer dan 10 jaar aan deze film en volgde enkele Afghaanse kinderen in hun overlevingsstrijd tijdens de oorlog. In &#8216;Reach for the Sky&#8217; volgden Steven Dhoedt en Wooyoung Choi\u00a0 enkele studenten in Zuid-Korea tijdens hun voorbereidingen op de Suneung, het eindejaarsexamen van de studenten. Het resultaat bepaalt niet enkel de keuze van de universiteit maar in een land, geobsedeerd door prestatie, is het ook een statussymbool.\u00a0 Als derde werd &#8216;Wim&#8217;, het intieme portret van <strong>Wim Vandekeybus<\/strong> gezien door de ogen van zijn zus Lut Vandekeybus, geselecteerd. Ze exploreert haar broers rusteloze creativiteit en de manier waarop de verschillende families in zijn leven elkaar ontmoeten, inspireren en botsen op basis van materiaal uit voorstellingen, repetities, interviews en het rijke familiearchief.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Filmfestival Oostende maakte net de nominaties voor de Ensors voor Kortfilm en Documentaire bekend.
