De derde speelfilm van de regisseur zal vertoond worden in het Discovery-programma (onthuld op 23 augustus). Noces wordt vertolkt door <strong>Lina El Arabi<\/strong>, <strong>S\u00e9bastien Houbani<\/strong>, <strong>Babak Karimi<\/strong> (<em>&#8216;A separation&#8217;<\/em>), <strong>Neena Kulkarni<\/strong>, <strong>Olivier Gourmet<\/strong>, <strong>Alice de Lencquesaing<\/strong>, <strong>Zacharie Chasseriaud<\/strong> en <strong>Aurora Marion<\/strong>. De film zal ook, eind augustus, op het Festival du Film Francophone van Angoul\u00eame vertoond worden.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Stephan Streker was jarenlang filmjournalist, maakte eerder al wat kortfilms en een experimentele langspeler, maar zijn doorbraak kwam toen hij drie jaar geleden het uitstekende<em> &#8216;Le monde nous appartient&#8217;<\/em> draaide, met onder meer <strong>Sam Louwyck<\/strong>, waar <strong>Piet Goddaer<\/strong> de soundtrack voor schreef.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De film, die ook in verschillende belangrijke festivals geselecteerd is, komt bij ons in het voorjaar 2017 in de zalen, verdeeld door Bardafeu Distribution in Belgi\u00eb en Jour2F\u00eate in Frankrijk. De internationale sales worden verzorgd door Jour2F\u00eate. Noces vertelt het verhaal van de achttienjarige Pakistaanse Zahira die de baby houden wil van wie ze in verwachting is. Amir, haar broer en vertrouweling belooft haar te helpen.
