De korte film &#8216;Feel Sad for the Bunny&#8217; van Kenneth Mercken krijgt eind deze maand zijn internationale premi\u00e8re op het Guanajuato Internationaal Filmfestival (22-31 juli) in Mexico. De film, gemaakt met de steun van een VAF Wildcard, is er geselecteerd voor de Kortfilmcompetitie en maakt zo een kans voor de Oscars. Daarnaast maakt ook de animatiefilm<em> &#8216;D: 729.&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Levi Stoops<\/strong> er zijn opwachting, net zoals de met Vlaanderen gecoproduceerde documentaire <em>&#8216;Shadow World&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Johan Grimonprez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/feel-sad-for-the-bunny-beleeft-internationale-premiere-in-mexico\/1-17\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-89121\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-89121\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/07\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/07\/1.jpg 720w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/07\/1-480x186.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a>De hoofdrol in &#8216;Feel Sad for the Bunny&#8217; is weggelegd voor de 12-jarige Remy die samenwoont met Bruno, zijn oudere broer naar wie hij opkijkt, en hun au pair Mihaela. Ondanks het leeftijdsverschil is Remy stiekem verliefd op Mihaela. Daarnaast was hij ook te zien op het Brussels Film Festival en won hij de Be TV Award op het Brussels Short Film Festival.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-89122\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/07\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/07\/2.jpg 720w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/07\/2-480x186.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Voor het eerst worden nu ook de landsgrenzen overgestoken met een internationale premi\u00e8re op het Guanajuata Internationaal Filmfestival in het Mexicaanse San Miguel de Allende. &#8216;Feel Sad for the Bunny&#8217; maakt binnen de Kortfilmcompetitie kans op het winnen van de Prijs voor Beste Kortfilm die recht geeft om de film in te schrijven op de longlist voor de Academy Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Naast &#8216;Feel Sad for the Bunny&#8217; is ook de korte animatiefilm &#8216;D: 729.&#8217; van Levi Stoops geselecteerd voor Guanajuato, waar hij vertoond zal worden binnen de Special Showcase Midnight Madness. Stoops brengt in vijf minuten het verhaal van een eenzame astronaut die zich seksueel aangetrokken voelt tot zijn tandenborstel.
