De psychologische thriller ‘Broken Vows’<\/em> wordt het speelfilmdebuut van de Vlaamse regisseur Bram Coppens die bij ons vooral bekend is met de korte film \u2019McDollars’<\/em> en van een reeks reclamefilms voor een aantal automerken en de nu al legendarische Adidas ‘I am Brazuca’<\/em> spot. Wes Bentley in \u2019American Beauty’<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wes Bentley<\/strong> (‘The Hunger Games’, \u2019Interstellar’<\/em> en ‘Knight Of Cups’<\/em>) en Jaimie Alexander<\/strong> (\u2019Thor’, ‘London Fields’<\/em>) spelen de hoofdrollen in een verhaal dat werd geschreven door James Agnew<\/strong> en Sean Keller<\/strong> die o.a. verantwoordelijk waren voor het scenario van \u2019Rage’<\/em> met Nicolas Cage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Producente is Wendy Benge<\/strong> (‘Life of Crime’<\/em>, ‘Life After Beth’<\/em>) met Larry Ladove<\/strong> (‘The Butler’<\/em>) als executive producer voor Stonecreek Films.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

‘Broken Vows’ is het verhaal van Patrick Flynn (Bentley), een man achter wiens charme en charisma een diepe psychose schuil gaat. Als hij Tara Bloom (Alexander) verleidt, valt hij onmiddellijk voor haar schoonheid. Wanneer Tara hem laat vallen, geraakt hij verstrengeld in een spiraal van waanzin en begoocheling die uiteindelijk explodeert in een psychotische woede uitbarsting. Tara zal de kracht moeten vinden om Patrick te stoppen in zijn drang om haar liefde, haar familie en uiteindelijk ook haar leven te verwoesten.<\/p>\n

Bram Coppens\u2019 WK-clip<\/h1>\n

Naast de korte film \u2019McDollars’ is Coppens vooral bekend voor een reeks van commercials die hij voor o.a. het productiehuis Caviar maakte. Naast reclamefilms voor automerken als Toyota, Lexus en Rangerover, voor Dockers en de Stad Antwerpen, was hij ook \u00e9\u00e9n van de twee regisseurs die voor Adidas de ‘I Am Brazuca’ interactieve film en TV spot regisseerde die de offici\u00eble voetbal van het WK 2014 lanceerde.
