{"id":49410,"date":"2013-12-19T15:59:57","date_gmt":"2013-12-19T14:59:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/?p=49410"},"modified":"2013-12-30T17:34:47","modified_gmt":"2013-12-30T16:34:47","slug":"koen-mortier-verfilmt-dimitri-verhulst-en-chuck-palahniuk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/nl\/koen-mortier-verfilmt-dimitri-verhulst-en-chuck-palahniuk\/","title":{"rendered":"Koen Mortier verfilmt Dimitri Verhulst en Chuck Palahniuk"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Het lijkt al eventjes stil rond <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Koen Mortier<\/span>, de regisseur van <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u2018Ex-Drummer\u2019<\/span><\/em> en <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u201922 mei\u2019<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0 Maar dat is slechts schijn.\u00a0 Want Mortier en zijn partner <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Eurydice Gysel<\/span> runnen ook samen een productiehuis dat de ene keer onder de noemer Czar, de andere keer onder CCCP en nog een andere keer onder Epidemic naar buiten komt.\u00a0 En dat productiehuis is zowel actief in de publicitaire wereld, produceert ook kortfilms en videoclips en treedt op als co-producent van grote internationale productiehuis.\u00a0 De opnamen van <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u2018The White Queen\u2019<\/span><\/em> bijvoorbeeld werden helemaal geregeld door het huis van Gysel en Mortier.\u00a0 En daarnaast is <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Koen Mortier<\/span> zelf een gevierde regisseur van allerlei pubs.\u00a0 Ofwel onder zijn eigen naam of als Lionel Goldstein, een fictieve naam waarvan hij bedient wanneer hij met zijn copain <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Joe Vanhoutteghem<\/span> achter de camera staat.\u00a0 Koen heeft gelukkig ook nog plannen om zelf langspeelfilms te gaan regisseren. Tenminste, dat konden wij opmaken uit zijn antwoorden op onze nieuwjaarsvraagjes.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">1. Er zijn in 2014 vrij veel Vlaamse films uitgekomen. Welke vond u persoonlijk de beste?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Voor mij was dit de eerste film die in 2013 uitkwam : \u2018Kid\u2019 van Fien Troch. Fien haar werk ademt artistieke persoonlijkheid uit.\u00a0 Zij is \u00e9\u00e9n van die enkelingen die geen risico\u2019s uit de weg gaat. Haar strafste film tot nog toe en ook haar samenwerking met D.O.P. Frank van den Eeden was op haar best.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">2. Wie is voor u de Vlaamse filmfiguur van het jaar?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Geen twijfel mogelijk : Nico Leunen.\u00a0 Hij bewijst keer op keer zijn meerwaarde voor de films waar hij aan werkt als cherry on the cake vertrok hij naar de US om daar aan een film te werken die zeker niet onopgemerkt voorbij zal gaan.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">3. Waar hoopt u in 2014 op filmvlak mee bezig te kunnen zijn?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ik vermoed dat ik dit jaar het boek \u2018Monoloog van iemand die het gewoon werd om tegen zichzelf te praten\u2019 van Dimitri Verhulst ga verfilmen. En uiteraard staat mijn verfilming van Chuck Palahniuk\u2019s \u2018Haunted\u2019 ook op het menu voor dit jaar.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">4. Welke zijn de Belgische en eventueel internationale films waar u naar uitkijkt?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Belgische films waar ik naar uitkijk, zijn vooral \u2018Waste Land\u2019 van Pieter Vanhees (heeft uiteraard te maken met het feit dat ik die zelf produceerde) en de nieuwe films van Fabrice Du Welz. Ik hoop ook de nieuwe van Gaspard No\u00e9 te zien.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">5. Is er een Vlaamse filmmaker, acteur, actrice, D.O.P., setdesigner, of iemand anders uit de branche die we speciaal in de gaten moeten houden?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Iedereen, want ze voeren allemaal iets in hun schild.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">6. Wie breekt er nationaal en internationaal door?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sam Louwyck naast Monica Bellucci, dat kan alleen maar brokken of succes opleveren.
