Met de bekroning van <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Veerle Baetens<\/span> als beste actrice van Europa kwam er een serieuze troef bovenop. \u00a0En dat de kansen op een Oscarnominatie niet geslonken zijn, bewijst het nieuws dat ons zonet uit Amerika komt aangewaaid : &#8216;The Broken Circle Breakdown\u2019 werd door de Washington DC Area Film Critics Association verkozen tot Beste Buitenlandse Film van het Jaar.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Als Amerikaanse film gaat hun voorkeur vooral uit naar<em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"> &#8217;12 Years a Slave\u2019<\/span><\/em> van <span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Steve McQueen<\/span>. Ook<em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"> &#8216;Gravity\u2019<\/span><\/em> doet het niet slecht.
