Maandagavond 20 mei was misschien niet al wie Franstalige films maakt in Belgi\u00eb aanwezig op het feestje dat georganiseerd werd door Les Magritte du Cin\u00e9ma, l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Delvaux en Wallonie Bruxelles-Images, maar er was in ieder geval veel volk : mooi en belangrijk volk. Tijdens dat feestje werd ook de laatste Magritte van het jaar uitgereikt, die voor de beste debuutfilm.  De Magritte\u2019s zijn de Filmprijzen van de Franstalige Belgische Cinema, zeg maar de Ensors van over de taalgrens.  De feestelijkheden vonden plaats in het Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel in Cannes.  En de prijs voor de beste debuutfilm ging uiteindelijk naar<em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"> &#8216;Dead Man Talking\u2019<\/span><\/em> van <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Patrick Ridremont<\/span>, die zich liet vertegenwoordigen door <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Pauline Burlet<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vooral veel jong volk op het feestje, mensen zoals eregenodigde <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">David Murgia<\/span>, eerder dit jaar bij de uitreiking van de Magritte\u2019s nog de mannelijke belofte van het jaar voor zijn rol in <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;La T\u00eate La Premi\u00e8re\u2019 <\/span><\/em>en bij ons natuurlijk bekend van<em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"> &#8216;Rundskop\u2019<\/span><\/em>.  <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Anne-Pascale Clairembourg<\/span>, vrouwelijke belofte van het jaar voor haar rol in <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;Mobile Home\u2019<\/span><\/em>, was er ook. En samen met haar de al even verrukkelijke nieuwe jonge ster van de Franstalige Belgische film, Pauline Burlet, in Cannes ook al te bewonderen in <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;Le Pass\u00e9\u2019<\/span><\/em>, de film van de Iraanse regisseur <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Asghar Farhadi<\/span> die dit jaar \u00e9\u00e9n van de favorieten van de competitie is.  Burlet was vorig jaar \u00e9\u00e9n van de sterren van &#8216;Dead Man Talking\u2019 en mocht namens regisseur Patrick Ridremont de prijs afhalen voor de beste debuutfilm.  Een heerlijke verschijning, die zeventienjarige meid. (foto Marc Bo)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 352px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-43704\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/cannes-la-soiree-belge-man-talking\/sony-dsc-12\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"SONY DSC\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013\/05\/DSC014341-352x270.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"352\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">foto Jean-Pierre Malherbe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;Henri&#8217;<\/span><\/em>, een film van de bekende Belgische actrice<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"> Yolande Moreau<\/span>, mag dit jaar de \u2018Quinzaine des R\u00e9alisateurs\u2019 afsluiten op het Filmfestival van Cannes.  De Quinzaine is een prestigieuze nevensectie, waar destijds de carriers gelanceerd werden van grote namen als Werner Herzog, Martin Scorsese, Michael Haneke,\u2026  Voor Moreau is \u2018Henri\u2019 \u2018een zachte, humoristische en gevoelige film over twee verdwaalde mensen\u2019.  Dit is de eerste film die Yolande Moreau in haar eentje regisseert.  In 2004 maakte ze ook al \u2013 maar dan als co-regisseur van <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Gilles Porte<\/span> \u2013 het opmerkelijke <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u2018Quand la mer monte\u2019<\/span><\/em>, waarin toe ook <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Wim Willaert<\/span> een belangrijke rol speelde.  Willaert, bij ons vooral bekend van zijn hoofdrol in <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u2018Offline\u2019<\/span><\/em>, schreef de muziek voor Henri.  Moreau was nu al in Cannes voor het feestje van de Magritte\u2019s waar ze dit jaar juryvoorzitter was en ook de prijs voor de beste vrouwelijke bijrol opstreek voor haar rol in <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;Camille Redouble\u2019<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"color: #444444; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 1.5; margin-top: 4px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 12px; margin-left: 24px; float: right; display: inline; border: 0px initial initial;\" title=\"SONY DSC\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013\/05\/DSC01489.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"295\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ook <em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Vanja D\u2019Alcantara<\/span><\/em> (<em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;Beyond the Steppes\u2019<\/span><\/em>) was er.  Zij is in Cannes omdat haar volgende film vooral een Franse film wordt, die zich weliswaar grotendeels in Japan zal afspelen. De heren <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Bavo Defurne<\/span> en <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Yves Verbraeken<\/span>, regisseur en producer van<em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"> &#8216;Noordzee, Texas\u2019<\/span><\/em> en momenteel in volle voorbereiding van een nieuwe langspeelfilm, <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8216;Souvenir\u2019<\/span>.
