De jury prees de film voor zijn &#8216;opmerkelijke samenspel, zijn emotionele weerklank en zijn krachtige portrettering van vervreemding onder tieners&#8217;.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De Grand Jury Sparky Award is niet de eerste onderscheiding die\u00a0\u2018Rotkop\u2019 te beurt valt. Eerder won hij o.a. al de Prijs voor Beste Korte Film op het Internationaal Filmfestival van Guanajuato in Mexico alsook de Prijs voor Beste Regie en deze voor Beste Scenario op het Internationaal Filmfestival van Gijon, Spanje. In september werd\u00a0\u2018Rotkop\u2019<em> <\/em>bovendien nog uitgeroepen tot Beste Korte Film tijdens het Filmfestival Oostende.\u00a0\u2028\u2028Het scenario van\u00a0\u2018Rotkop\u2019 werd geschreven door <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Bert Van Dael<\/span> en <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Sanne Nuyens<\/span>. Alles draait rond de 15-jarige Olli, een eenzame rotkop die ruzie zoekt met wie hij kan. Wanneer zijn doodzieke moeder een feestje voor zijn zestiende verjaardag organiseert, wil hij haar niet teleurstellen. Hij moet op zoek naar vrienden.\u2028\u2028In de hoofdrollen zien we <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Enrique De Roeck<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Marthe Schneider<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Yavuz Sa\u00e7ikara<\/span> en <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Sara De Bosschere<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Rik Zang<\/span> tekende voor de fotografie, met <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Maarten Janssens<\/span> als monteur en <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Raf Keunen<\/span> (<em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u2018Rundskop\u2019<\/span><\/em>) als componist van de originele score.\u2028\u2028Naast de regie werd\u00a0\u2018Rotkop\u2019 ook geproduceerd door de broers Jan en Raf Roosens voor het Antwerpse productiehuis Rococo.
