De film zal er zijn wereldpremi\u00e8re beleven in de Horizon-sectie. Fantasia is een van de belangrijkste en meest toonaangevende internationale filmfestivals voor genrefilms. Op 23 september komt de film bij ons in de zalen.<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Paradise | Trailer\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EHo1ddC625Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Paradise <\/em>vertelt het verhaal van Suleyman, die na zeven jaar vrijkomt uit de gevangenis, vastberaden om zijn leven weer op te pikken. Zijn thuis, het appartementsblok Paradise, is in de tussentijd echter helemaal verloederd en ingenomen door drugsdealers en gangsters. Uitgerekend op de dag van zijn terugkeer beslist de politie Paradise te bestormen. Suleyman raakt gevangen in het geweld, met maar \u00e9\u00e9n doel: zijn moeder terugvinden en haar in veiligheid brengen. Samen met rookie-politieagent Yasmine knokt hij zich verdieping per verdieping een weg naar boven.<\/p>\n<p>De regie van <em>Paradise <\/em>is van Bob Colaers, naar een scenario van Sa\u00efd Boumazoughe, Sven Huybrechts en Salahdine Ibnou Kacemi. De hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door Achmed Akkabi, Sa\u00efd Boumazoughe en Clara Cleymans.<\/p>\n<p>De productie was in handen van Hendrik Verth\u00e9 voor A Team Productions, in coproductie met het Nederlandse Aattache Films. Kinepolis Film Distribution (KFD) brengt de film vanaf 23 september uit in de Belgische zalen. De internationale rechtenverkoop wordt verzorgd door het in Londen gevestigde Blue Finch Film Releasing. <em>Paradise <\/em>kwam tot stand met de steun van het VAF\/Filmfonds.
