Achter een fa\u00e7ade van succes en zelfverzekerdheid verbergt ze haar diepste onzekerheden. Ze ontmoet Eliott, een zwijgzame maar gedreven microbioloog. Ondanks hun tegenovergestelde werelden ontstaat er een onverwachte vriendschap. Wanneer Julia de job van haar leven krijgt, komt ze voor een keuze te staan: doorgaan met het spelen van een rol, of eindelijk eerlijk zijn tegenover zichzelf en echt leven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leni Huyghe<\/strong> regisseerde eerder bekroonde kortfilms die geselecteerd werden voor internationale festivals zoals de Cin\u00e9fondation in Cannes, Visions du R\u00e9el en Palm Springs. In 2015 werd ze geselecteerd voor Berlinale Talents. Voor Canvas co-regisseerde ze samen met Maui Druez en Liesbeth De Ceulaer de documentaire <em>I Waited Night &amp; Day<\/em>, over de impact van de Covid-crisis in woonzorgcentra. Daarnaast regisseerde ze het tweede seizoen van de populaire webserie <em>Hacked<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Het scenario van <em>Real Faces<\/em> werd geschreven door Leni Huyghe en <strong>Vincent Vanneste<\/strong>. De hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door <strong>Leonie Buysse<\/strong> en <strong>Gorges Ocloo<\/strong>, met daarnaast rollen voor <strong>Joely Mbundu<\/strong>, <strong>Yoann Blanc<\/strong> en <strong>Karlijn Sileghem<\/strong>.
