Met deze steun realiseerde ze <em data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"614\">Parasisi<\/em>, een documentaire die focust op de impact van buitenstaanders op de Wayana-gemeenschap in het Amazonewoud, op de grens van Suriname en Frans-Guyana.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"1219\">De film toont hoe externe invloeden diepe sporen nalaten binnen deze inheemse samenleving. Illegale goudwinning vervuilt de rivier, religieuze interventies zetten druk op de identiteit van de gemeenschap, en ook medische hulpverlening laat, ondanks goede intenties, blijvende effecten na. <em data-start=\"1054\" data-end=\"1064\">Parasisi<\/em> brengt zowel zichtbare veranderingen als subtielere historische echo\u2019s in beeld en legt bloot hoe postkoloniale mechanismen vandaag nog steeds doorwerken.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PARASISI (teaser)\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1087989067?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"618\" height=\"334\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1397\">De documentaire is geproduceerd door DOKMA Film, met steun van Fonds Pascal Decroos, DGD en Sabam. In Belgi\u00eb werd de film eerder vertoond op Film Festival Oostende en Docville.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1619\">Ook de korte animatiefilm <em data-start=\"1425\" data-end=\"1456\">This Is Your Captain Speaking<\/em> van Nienke Deutz is geselecteerd voor Hot Docs, binnen het Shorts-programma.
