In dit intense familiedrama spelen Vincent Van Sande, Tibo Vandenborre en Ruth Becquart de hoofdrollen. De film is los ge\u00efnspireerd op het waargebeurde verhaal van Peter Muyshondt en op diens boek Broers waren we, en raakt aan thema\u2019s als broederliefde, verslaving en de complexe loyaliteit binnen een familie. Tijdens het gesprek in Oostende vertelde Van Sande met opvallend veel passie over de lange weg die tot deze film heeft geleid. Voor hem is <em>Clean<\/em> meer dan een debuutfilm: het is een persoonlijk project waarin echte levensverhalen, morele dilemma\u2019s en menselijke kwetsbaarheid samenkomen.
