Naar mijn aanvoelen is Oostende de beste plek om een Vlaamse film op de markt te brengen en daarnaast is het een fantastisch festival. Master Ruth Becquart speelt trouwens een mooie rol in de film als de vrouw van politieman Mathieu. Het slotfeest mag dus dubbel gevierd worden!<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00efnspireerd op het waargebeurde verhaal van Peter Muyshondt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Synopsis:<\/strong><br \/>\nClean<em> is een intens familiedrama over politieagent Mathieu, wiens zorgvuldig geordende leven opnieuw instort wanneer zijn hero\u00efneverslaafde broer Timo, na jaren stilte, plots opduikt tijdens het kerstfeest. Wanneer Timo tijdens een interventie wordt gearresteerd, verliest Mathieu de controle: vastbesloten zijn broer te \u201credden\u201d, sluit hij hem op in een afgelegen blokhut voor een brute cold-turkey afkick. Terwijl de situatie escaleert, wordt Mathieu gedwongen te kiezen tussen zijn carri\u00e8re, zijn gezin en zijn laatste kans op verzoening met zijn broer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Clean<em> is een emotionele reis over verslaving en de grenzen van controle. De film laat ons nadenken over hoe we verslaafden zien: als slachtoffer of als crimineel?<\/em><\/p>\n<div><em><strong>Clean <\/strong><\/em>is\u00a0een productie van Cartouche in coproductie met Popocatepetl &amp; BNP Paribas Fortis Film Finance.
