Acteerervaring is geen vereiste \u2013 ze zoeken vooral iemand die zin heeft in dit avontuur!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Over de film<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Killabee<\/em>\u00a0vertelt het verhaal van Sam, een geadopteerde jongen van Aziatische achtergrond, die met zijn Vlaamse moeder net van Toronto naar een Vlaams gehucht is verhuisd. Nieuwsgierig en vastberaden trekt hij tijdens het carnavalsweekend op ontdekkingstocht door zijn nieuwe buurt. Hoewel hij warm onthaald wordt, begint hij stilaan te beseffen dat zijn anders-zijn hem altijd een beetje zal onderscheiden\u2014zelfs van zijn eigen moeder.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Over de rol<br \/>\n<\/strong>Sam is nieuwsgierig, extravert en heeft het hart op de tong. Hij stapt onbevreesd op mensen af en schakelt moeiteloos tussen Engels en Vlaams. Dansen is zijn passie, iets wat hij deelt met zijn moeder. Hij is sociaal, speels en altijd in voor een uitdaging.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belangrijk:<\/strong> Hoewel Sam in het script een jongen is, willen ze deze casting zo open mogelijk houden. Ze moedigen ook kinderen van andere genders aan om zich kandidaat te stellen.
