Dan weet je dat vorige zondag de Grote Prijs van Groot-Brittanni\u00eb plaatsvond op het circuit van Silverstone. De ideale gelegenheid om de eerste teaser te lossen van de aankomende racefilm met Brad Pitt in de hoofdrol. En die geeft volle gas!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De film zal zich afspelen tijdens het huidige F1-seizoen. Brad Pitt neemt het personage van Sonny Hayes voor zijn rekening, een voormalige vedette die uit zijn pensioen terugkeert om zich te ontfermen over de jonge en talentvolle piloot Joshua Pearce (rol van Damson Idris).<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>Mijn personage nam tijdens de jaren 1990 deel aan Grote Prijzen, maar op een bepaald moment raakte hij betrokken bij een verschrikkelijk ongeval<\/em>\u00bb, vertelt Pitt. \u00ab<em>Na die crash verloor hij de moed om nog in een F1-wagen te stappen, en hij verdween uit het circuit. Al bleef hij wel nog racen in andere disciplines. Tot hij op een dag telefoon krijgt van een goeie vriend, gespeeld door Javier Bardem, met een wanhopig voorstel. De renstal waarvan hij de eigenaar is, zit in slechte papieren. Ze staan altijd op de laatste rij van de startgrid, en ze hebben nog nooit een punt behaald bij een wedstrijd. Maar ze hebben wel een fenomenale jonge piloot onder contract, het personage van Damson Idris. Of ik hem onder mijn vleugels wil nemen?<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Pitt is ook enorm onder de indruk van de beelden die hij al gezien heeft: \u00ab<em>We hebben camera\u2019s overal in en aan de wagen gemonteerd, en het resultaat is verbluffend.
