Een gedreven man met een onverzadigbare passie voor kunst, radicaal in zijn eerlijkheid en vastberaden in zijn streven naar totale intellectuele en emotionele vrijheid. Hij haalde kunst uit het museum en bracht het naar de mens. Het is geen toeval dat de film in 2024 verschijnt, exact tien jaar na het overlijden van Hoet. Een gebeurtenis die niet alleen in Belgi\u00eb, maar ook daarbuiten zal worden herdacht.
