De afleveringen nemen telkens een klinkend kernaspect uit onze levens als leidraad, zoals aanvaarding, protest, wetgeving. De regie lag in handen van <strong>Heleen Declercq<\/strong>, <strong>Za\u00efde Bil<\/strong> en <strong>Sam Peeters<\/strong>. Haar hart ligt vooral bij documentaires, maar ze combineert die passie graag met het maken van commercials, muziek- en modeprojecten.<\/p>\n<p>Za\u00efde Bil won de VAF Wildcard met haar afstudeerfilm <em>Memre Yu<\/em>. Nog voor haar opleiding regie studeerde ze Journalistiek. Deze twee diploma&#8217;s komen mooi samen bij het artistiek regisseren van een documentaire en de research die nodig is om complexe en veelzijdige projecten aan te pakken.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Peeters gaf na drie jaar geneeskunde zijn studies op om filmregie te gaan studeren. Hij studeerde af met <em>Azadi<\/em>, een creatieve documentaire over de vluchtelingenproblematiek op het eiland Lesvos. Deze documentaireserie won de Work in Progress Award.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Emmy Oost geselecteerd voor Series Women<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Het Erich Pommer Institute (EPI) selecteerde 15 Europese producenten voor de derde editie van Series&#8217; Women, een Europees carri\u00e8reprogramma voor vrouwelijke producenten van internationale fictieseries. Emmy Oost, de producent van <em>She They Us<\/em>, werd gekozen als Vlaamse deelnemer.
