JULIAN<\/em> wordt geregisseerd door Cato Kusters<\/strong> die recent met haar afstudeerfilm Finns Hiel<\/em> de Juryprijs won op Film Fest Gent en de publieksprijs op Festival de Film de Femmes de Cr\u00e9teil.<\/p>\n

Samen met scenarist Angelo Tijssens<\/strong> (o.a Girl<\/em> & Close<\/em>) schrijft Cato het scenario. \u00a0Het verhaal is ge\u00efnspireerd door het gelijknamig boek JULIAN<\/em> van Fleur Pierets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

JULIAN<\/em> is een productie van The Reunion<\/strong> geproduceerd door Michiel Dhont<\/strong> en Lukas Dhont<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

synopsis<\/strong><\/p>\n

De film vertelt het verhaal van Julian en haar\u00a0vrouw Fleur die willen trouwen in de 22 landen waar ze dat mogen. Na het\u00a0vierde huwelijk wordt hun reis echter abrupt\u00a0onderbroken wanneer Julian ernstig\u00a0ziek wordt. Een paar weken na de diagnose is ze er niet meer. \u00a0E\u00e9n jaar na het\u00a0overlijden van haar vrouw wordt Fleur uitgenodigd om een lezing te geven over\u00a0hun project. Ze moet op zoek naar\u00a0manieren om hun werk alleen verder te zetten\u00a0en naar wie zij is nu Julian niet meer naast haar staat.<\/p>\n
