Eerder mocht L’amer au bords des l\u00e8vres<\/em> al meedoen aan de studentencompetitie van Film Fest Gent en de Nationale Competitie van het Kortfilmfestival, en nu maakt de kortfilm ook deel uit van de Next Generation op Brussels Short Film Festival. Bovendien wordt de film ook vertoond op Afrika Filmfestival dit weekend.<\/b><\/p>\n

L’amer au bord des l\u00e8vres, <\/em>de bachelor film van Sanae Khamlich<\/b>i<\/strong> voor LUCA School of Arts<\/strong>, volgt de 33-jarige Israe op de dag van haar gearrangeerde huwelijk. Israe wordt geconfronteerd met de dunne lijn tussen vrije wil en sociale druk, maar ook tussen overtuigingen, enthousiasme en angst.<\/span><\/p>\n

De hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door Bouchra Lamsyeh <\/strong>(B\u00e2tard)<\/em>, Israe Bensbaho<\/strong>\u00a0en\u00a0Rabiha El Khamlichi<\/strong>. Khamlichi\u00a0werd ge\u00efnspireerd door haar oma’s eigen gearrangeerd huwelijk. Zij huwde met een man die ze slechts \u00e9\u00e9n dag kende, en bleven 50 jaar lang getrouwd.<\/p>\n

De film maakt deel uit van Diaspora in Focus:\u00a0Belgian Shorts 1<\/a>, en wordt vertoond op 22 april om 19u30.\u00a0In deze competitie met Belgische kortfilms<\/span>\u00a0wordt Afro-Belgisch talent gevierd en biedt het AFF<\/strong> een platform aan jonge <\/span>Belgische filmmakers met Afrikaanse roots<\/b>. De jury zal de winnaar bekendmaken op de Award Avond op 5 mei en zal een prijs van \u20ac500 ontvangen, geschonken door het Africamuseum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Daarnaast maakt L’amer au bord des l\u00e8vres<\/em> ook deel uit van de Next Generation<\/strong> Competitie op BSFF<\/strong>, een selectie studentenfilms uit binnen- en buitenland. De vertoningen zijn op 28 april om 16u en 2 mei om 22u.<\/p>\n
