Daarnaast zijn drie korte documentaires uit de derde lichting van Ket &amp; Doc geselecteerd voor het jeugdfilmprogramma:\u00a0<em>Licht<\/em>\u00a0van Sarah Lederman,\u00a0<em>Goals<\/em>\u00a0van Florinda Ciucio en\u00a0<em>Bgirl Badli<\/em>\u00a0van Charlotte De Cort.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Otilia Babara<\/strong> is een Moldavische filmmaker en Doc Nomads-alumnus die woont en werkt in Brussel. Met\u00a0<em>Love Is Not an Orange<\/em>\u00a0richt de filmmaker haar blik\u00a0op haar geboorteland Moldavi\u00eb, waar begin jaren &#8217;90 veel moeders het land verlieten om geld te verdienen voor hun gezin. Om hun fysieke aanwezigheid te vervangen en hun afwezigheid minder pijnlijk te maken, communiceerden ze met elkaar door middel van dozen gevuld met geschenken. Dit gebaar werd een ritueel onder vele families. Met behulp van videocamera&#8217;s deelden ze hun levens en deze beelden werden vaak toegevoegd aan de kartonnen dozen. Naarmate de technologie vorderde, verbeterde de beeldkwaliteit, maar de relaties werden steeds afstandelijker.<\/p>\n<p>Via intieme priv\u00e9-archieven verbeeldt\u00a0<em>Love is Not an Orange<\/em>\u00a0de kwetsbaarheid van familiebanden door de ogen van moeders en dochters die gedwongen werden apart te leven om te overleven.<\/p>\n<p><em>Love is Not an Orange<\/em>\u00a0werd geschreven en geregisseerd door Otilia Babara. De productie is van Hanne Phlypo voor Clin d\u2019oeil Films, in coproductie met Alegria Productions (FR), Basalt Film (NL) en ALT Film (MO).\u00a0De productie kwam tot stand met de steun van het VAF\/Filmfonds van Vlaams minister van Cultuur Jan Jambon.<\/p>\n<p>Naast de wereldpremi\u00e8re van\u00a0<em>Love is Not an Orange<\/em>\u00a0zijn drie korte documentaires uit de Ket &amp; Doc-reeks geselecteerd voor het Kids-programma van DOK Leipzig. Het gaat om\u00a0<em>Licht<\/em>\u00a0van <strong>Sarah Lederman<\/strong> (prod. De Mensen),\u00a0<em>Goals<\/em>\u00a0van<strong> Florinda Ciucio<\/strong> (prod. Borgerhoff &amp; Lamberigts TV) en\u00a0<em>Bgirl Badli<\/em>\u00a0van <strong>Charlotte De Cort<\/strong> (prod. Associate Directors).
