De hoofdrollen zijn voor<strong> Sofie Decleir<\/strong> en nieuwkomer <strong>David Mutamba<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Binge Loving<\/em> is een productie van<strong> Bea Catteeuw<\/strong> voor <strong>Denzzo<\/strong>. De film was al op een tiental internationale kortfilmfestivals te zien en werd\u00a0o.a. bekroond met de <strong>Humo Awar<\/strong>d voor de Beste Belgische Kortfilm op het<strong> Internationaal Kortfilmfestival Leuven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Thomas Deknop over Binge Loving!\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eKkJ7tz5ips?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast is ook <em>High Jump<\/em> van <strong>Lennert Madou<\/strong> geselecteerd voor Palm Springs. Deze coming-of-age-film gaat over een jongen die in een afgelegen dorpje woont, waar hij zijn dagen vult met zijn beste vrienden en toch met een voortdurend gemis kampt. <em>Hight Jump<\/em> is de bachelorfilm van Lennert Madou aan<strong> RITCS School of Arts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ook deze film viel op de laatste editie van het\u00a0Kortfilmfestival\u00a0in Leuven in de prijzen: die voor Beste Debuut. Eerder was de film ook al geselecteerd in de studentencompetitie op <strong>Film Fest Gent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/2JRcxOX42Lw\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/2JRcxOX42Lw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Een derde en laatste Vlaamse titel in Palm Springs is <em>Undergrowth<\/em> van<strong> Tim Ewalts<\/strong>, een film over twee broers en hun vader die ver van de moderne maatschappij in het bos wonen, waar hun vader houthakkers van hen probeert te maken.\u00a0<em>Undergrowth<\/em> is de bachelorfilm van Tim Ewalts aan <strong>KASK School of Arts<\/strong> en zal in Palm Springs zijn wereldpremi\u00e8re beleven.<\/p>\n<p><em>Binge Loving kwam<\/em> tot stand met de steun van het VAF\/Filmfonds van Vlaams minister van Cultuur Jan Jambon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Drie korte fictiefilms uit Vlaanderen zijn geselecteerd voor het Palm Springs International ShortFest, het grootste festival voor korte films in de Verenigde Staten (21-27 juni).
