Enkele weken geleden viel Les Pires<\/em> met Johan Heldenbergh in de prijzen op het filmfestival van Cannes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

D<\/span>e eerste langspeelfilm van de Franse regisseurs Lise Akoka<\/strong> en Romane Gueret\u00a0<\/strong>won op het Festival de Cannes\u00a0<\/strong>de hoofdprijs in\u00a0Un Certain Regard<\/strong>, een categorie die gewaagde en originele films van minder bekende makers wil eren.\u00a0Johan Heldenbergh<\/span><\/strong> speelt \u00e9\u00e9n van de hoofdrollen in Les Pires<\/em>, oftewel The Worst Ones<\/em>. Hij vertolkt de rol van filmregisseur Gabriel, die met vier jongeren een film probeert te maken.<\/p>\n

Voor Heldenbergh was het niet de eerste keer dat hij in Cannes was. In 2009 maakt hij het festival nog onveilig De<\/span> helaasheid der dingen\u00a0<\/em>van Felix van Groeningen<\/strong>, die toen vertoond werd\u00a0in de nevensectie van de<\/span> Quinzaine<\/strong>. De acteur overtuigde de regisseur gelukkig ook om dit jaar deel te nemen met The Eight Mountains<\/em>, met een Prix du Jury als gevolg. Samen mochten ze in 2014 ook ooit naar de Oscars met The Broken Circle Breakdown<\/em>, die toen naast de prijs voor Beste Internationale Film greep.<\/p>\n

Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In een voorstadje van het Noord-Franse Boulogne-Sur-Mer zal een film worden opgenomen. Gedurende het selecteren van personen voor de filmrollen worden vier tieners uit dezelfde buurt, Lily, Ryan, Maylis en Jessy uitgekozen om in de film te gaan spelen. Iedereen uit hun buurt wordt hierdoor verrast: waarom worden immers de ‘minsten’ hiervoor uitgekozen?<\/p>\n
