Eerder volgden ook al <em>Tori et Lokita<\/em> van <strong>de gebroeders Dardenne<\/strong> en <em>The Eight Mountains<\/em> van <strong>Felix van Groeningen en Charlotte Vandermeersch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Rebel<\/em> is een productie van<strong> Bert Hamelinck en Dimitri Verbeeck<\/strong> voor <strong>Caviar.<\/strong> Naast Adil en Bilall, schreven ook o.a.<strong> Kevin Meul en Jan Van Dyck<\/strong> mee aan het scenario.<strong> Robrecht Heyvaert<\/strong> tekende voor de fotografie, terwij<strong>l Hannes De Maeyer, Oum en Bakr<\/strong> instonden voor de originele score. De choreografie in bepaalde sc\u00e8nes is van <strong>Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"field-label\">Synopsis: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"field-bxls-pjt-syno inline\">\n<p>Na de dood van zijn vader zoekt Nassim, een 13-jarige Marokkaanse jongen, naar een eigen identiteit. Zijn moeder Leila probeert hem angstvallig weg te houden van zijn oudere broer Karim, een lokale dealer en gangster.
