Master<strong> Koen De Bouw\u00a0<\/strong>vertolkt er misschien wel zijn meest kwetsbare rol ooit, naast jong talent <strong>Noa Tambwe Kabati\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>wtFock<\/em>,<em>\u00a0Welp<\/em>).\u00a0<wbr \/><strong>Sebastien\u00a0Dewaele<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>Undercover<\/em>, <em>Eigen Kweek<\/em>),<strong>\u00a0Sofie\u00a0Decleir<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>De Dag<\/em>),\u00a0<strong>Karlijn\u00a0Sileghem\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>Home<\/em>) en\u00a0<strong>Ruth\u00a0Becquart\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>Chauss\u00e9e D\u2019Amour<\/em>) vullen de cast aan.<\/p>\n<header role=\"heading\"><\/header>\n<p>Op het festival maakt\u00a0<em>Nowhere<\/em>\u00a0deel uit van de\u00a0<strong>LOOK!<\/strong>-competitie, die zich focust op visueel sterke verhalen. Zijn routineuze bestaan wordt verstoord wanneer hij de dakloze tiener Thierry betrapt op een poging tot inbraak. Sterk geraakt door zijn verhaal, neemt Andr\u00e9 hem onder zijn hoede en gaan ze op zoek naar Thierry\u2019s familie. Tijdens de roadtrip groeit niet alleen een bijzondere vriendschap maar ook het besef dat ze elkaar nodig hebben om het verleden te laten rusten.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nowhere<\/em>\u00a0is een productie van <strong>Lunanime<\/strong> (producenten <strong>Jan De Clercq<\/strong> en <strong>Annemie Degryse<\/strong>), in coproductie met\u00a0Need Productions, Telenet en E\u00e9n. De film kwam tot stand met steun van het Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF)\/Filmfonds van Vlaams minister van Cultuur Jan Jambon en van het Vlaams noodfonds corona van de Vlaamse regering, F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie \u2013 Bruxelles, Creative Europe Media, de Stad Gent, Lumi\u00e8re Invest en Lumi\u00e8re Publishing.<\/p>\n<div><strong>Lumi\u00e8re brengt de film in de Belgische zalen op 6 april.<\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vrijdagavond ging Nowhere in premi\u00e8re, op de openingsavond van Filmfestival Oostende.
