In de hoofdrollen zien we\u00a0<strong>Bob De Moor<\/strong>, <strong>Peggy Schepens<\/strong> en <strong>Marijn Devalck<\/strong>.\u00a0De Vlaamse Ardennen pronken als officieuze vierde hoofdrolspeler in de film. Geen verrassende keuze als decor, gezien Rahoens zelf afkomstig is uit de streek. Meer dan 300 inwoners acteerden ook mee in zijn film. Het resultaat is een volksfilm\u00a0pur\u00a0sang waar vriendschap, liefde en humor centraal staan.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p lang=\"x-size-16\"><em>&#8220;Ik heb alles zelf gedaan, dus voor mij is het moeilijk om de film zelf te beoordelen. Elk beeld heb ik tien keer gewikt en gewogen. Als je een grap tien keer na elkaar hoort, dan is de humor eruit.
