De opnames van <em>Zillion<\/em> werden deze herfst succesvol afgerond.<\/p>\n<p>Matteo Simoni<\/strong>, <strong>Charlotte Timmers<\/strong>, <strong>Barbara Sarafian<\/strong>, <strong>Geert Van Rampelberg<\/strong>, <strong>Dirk Roofthooft<\/strong> en <strong>Frank Vercruyssen<\/strong> vormen samen met <strong>Jonas Vermeulen<\/strong>\u00a0de hoofdcast in dit\u00a0misdaadverhaal over de opkomst en\u00a0ondergang van de Antwerpse danstempel Zillion en zijn flamboyante eigenaar <strong>Frank\u00a0Verstraeten<\/strong>. <strong>Kevin Meul<\/strong> schreef samen met <strong>Robin Pront<\/strong> het scenario.<strong> Robrecht Heyvaert<\/strong> (<em>D\u2019Ardennen<\/em>, <em>Patser<\/em>, <em>Bad Boys for Life<\/em>) verzorgt net zoals bij D\u2019Ardennen het camerawerk.\u00a0<strong>FBO<\/strong>, bekend van <em>De Premier<\/em> maar ook van <em>Callboys<\/em> en <em>De Dag<\/em>, produceert de film in coproductie met <strong>Woestijnvis<\/strong>\u00a0en <strong>Millstreet Films<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<figure id=\"attachment_242881\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-242881\" style=\"width: 907px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-242881\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/unnamed-49-451x270.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"907\" height=\"543\" srcset=\"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/unnamed-49-451x270.png 451w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/unnamed-49-800x479.png 800w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/unnamed-49-768x460.png 768w, https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/unnamed-49.png 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 907px) 100vw, 907px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-242881\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Op de foto : Frank Verstraeten, vertolkt door Jonas Vermeulen, die zijn Zillionaires in trance brengt.<br \/>copy :\u00a0FBO\/Thomas Dhanens<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nSynopsis:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>1997. Frank Verstraeten, een computergenie met een onwaarschijnlijke neus voor zaken, een fascinatie voor het nachtleven en een ongezonde bewijsdrang wil slechts \u00e9\u00e9n ding: een eigen discotheek die de concurrentie niet alleen overtreft maar simpelweg vernedert. De futuristische megadiscotheek Zillion is een feit en Frank ontpopt zich van computermarchand uit Meise tot de spilfiguur van het Antwerpse nachtleven. Hij paradeert met de mooiste vrouwen van Belgi\u00eb en smeedt een alliantie met Dennis Black Magic, de pornokoning die voor de pikante extra\u2019s zorgt. Helaas duren ook hier mooie liedjes niet lang. Frank cre\u00ebert vijanden binnen en buiten z\u2019n discotheek, verliest de controle en gaat met zijn eigen danstempel ten onder.<\/p>\n<p><\/em><em>Zillion<\/em>\u00a0is een productie van FBO in coproductie met Woestijnvis en Millstreet Films in samenwerking met VTM, Kinepolis Film Distribution en het STAP-programma van Telenet.\u00a0<em>Zillion\u00a0<\/em>kwam tot stand met de steun van het Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF)\u00a0van Vlaams minister van cultuur Jan Jambon, Screen Flanders van Vlaams minister van economie Hilde Crevits, het Nederlands Filmfonds, The Netherlands Film Production Incentive en de Belgische Tax Shelter voor Filmfinanciering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Op 26 oktober brengt Kinepolis Film Distribution de film uit in de Belgische bioscopen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Onder het motto \u2018een beeld zegt meer dan duizend woorden\u2019 geeft Zillion een eerste foto uit de film vrij.
