Het gaat om <em>Les intranquilles<\/em> van Joachim Lafosse (in competitie), <em>Annette<\/em> van Leos Carax (openingsfilm, in competitie) en <em>Un monde<\/em> van Laura Wandel (Un Certain Regard).\u00a0Nooit eerder waren er\u00a0zoveel Vlaamse coproducties te zien in Cannes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Les intranquilles<\/em>, de nieuwe speelfilm van de Belgische regisseur <strong>Joachim Lafosse<\/strong>\u00a0over twee geliefden die een mentale gezondheidscrisis doormaken, is geselecteerd voor de Offici\u00eble Competitie in Cannes\u00a0en maakt zo kans op de Gouden Palm. Het Brusselse productiehuis <strong>Prime Time<\/strong> werkte als Vlaamse partner mee aan de film.<\/p>\n<p>Een andere titel in de Offici\u00eble Competitie is <em>Annette<\/em> van Leos Carax, die dit jaar het festival mag openen. De musicalfilm met\u00a0Adam Driver en Marion Cotillard in de hoofdrollen werd voor een deel gedraaid in Vlaanderen, op locatie en in de onderwaterstudio\u2019s van Lites in Vilvoorde. Acteur <strong>Wim Opbrouck<\/strong> is in een bijrol te zien en ook achter de schermen was er een grote Vlaamse inbreng.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vaf.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=a37f352ab9084693467aaec9d&amp;id=eca40e73ca&amp;e=f5027ba7bd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/vaf.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3Da37f352ab9084693467aaec9d%26id%3Deca40e73ca%26e%3Df5027ba7bd&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1622801491346000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEJfreu84mQrM8c7NxHzdS8pGliKg\">Net als <em>La Civil<\/em><\/a> van <strong>Teodora Ana Mihai<\/strong> is\u00a0<em>Un monde<\/em>, het speelfilmdebuut van de jonge Belgische filmmaakster <strong>Laura Wandel<\/strong>, geselecteerd voor de Un Certain Regard-sectie. <em>Un monde<\/em> gaat over het niet zo onschuldige leven op de lagere school en de keuze tussen vrienden maken en familiebanden beschermen. Het Gentse productiehuis Lunanime is als Vlaamse coproducent bij deze film betrokken.<\/p>\n<p>Ten slotte zullen in Cannes ook Vlaamse titels gepresenteerd worden op de March\u00e9 du Film, het industrie-event dat parallel met het filmfestival loopt (6-15 juli). <em>Aller\/Retour, <\/em>de nieuwe speelfilm van <strong>Doroth\u00e9e van den Berghe<\/strong> die momenteel in postproductie is, is uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan een showcase van het Tallinn Black Nights Festival op de filmmarkt in Cannes. De productie van <em>Aller\/Retour<\/em> is van Caviar.<\/p>\n<p><em>La Civil<\/em>, <em>Les Intranquilles<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Un monde<\/em> en <em>Aller\/Retour<\/em> konden rekenen op steun van het VAF\/Filmfonds van Vlaams minister van Cultuur Jan Jambon.
