{"id":237354,"date":"2021-05-10T15:37:02","date_gmt":"2021-05-10T13:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/?p=237354"},"modified":"2021-05-10T15:41:34","modified_gmt":"2021-05-10T13:41:34","slug":"oproep-voor-filmprojecten-die-op-zoek-zijn-naar-een-componist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/nl\/oproep-voor-filmprojecten-die-op-zoek-zijn-naar-een-componist\/","title":{"rendered":"Oproep voor filmprojecten die op zoek zijn naar een componist!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Film Fest Gent, MCFIFA en FIFF Namur koppelen regisseurs en componisten via Third Character-initiatief.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de jaarlijkse <strong>WSA Industry Days<\/strong> op <strong>Film Fest Gent<\/strong>, van 20 tot en met 23 oktober 2021, zal Film Fest Gent samenwerken met <strong>MCFIFA<\/strong> (MUSIC &amp; CINEMA Internationaal Filmfestival van Aubagne) en <strong>FIFF Namur<\/strong> (Internationaal Festival voor Franstalige film in Namen) om een Belgische versie van het Third Character-initiatief te organiseren. Regisseurs en producenten die op zoek zijn naar een componist voor hun filmproject kunnen vertrouwen op FFG, MCFIFA en FIFF Namur om een match te vinden met een geschikte filmmuziekcomponist.<\/p>\n<p><b>Over Third Character<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Third Character is een initiatief dat ontwikkeld werd door MCFIFA en Sacem. Het project heeft als doel ontmoetingen te faciliteren tussen filmmuziekcomponisten en duo\u2019s van regisseurs en producenten die bezig zijn met een filmproject waarvoor nog een componist geselecteerd moet worden. FFG en FIFF Namur organiseren afwisselend elk jaar een Belgische variant van het project. Op die manier willen de filmfestivals een samenwerking tot stand brengen tussen regisseurs, producenten en componisten. De samenwerkingen die voortkomen uit deze ontmoetingen zullen de kans krijgen financi\u00eble steun aan te vragen voor de score via auteursrechtenorganisaties <strong>Sabam<\/strong> of <strong>Sacem<\/strong> (enkel voor leden).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matchmaking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hoe gaat het zoeken naar een match precies in zijn werk? Regisseurs en producenten, wiens filmproject financi\u00eble steun moet hebben ontvangen en bijgevolg met de productie van start kan gaan, kunnen het scenario of een specifieke sc\u00e8ne indienen van een filmproject dat nog met filmen moet aanvangen en waarvoor nog geen componist gekozen is. Dit scenario mag zowel voor een kort- als langspeelfilm zijn, voor zowel fictie als documentaire. Het materiaal zal verstuurd worden naar de kandidaat-componisten, die op basis van de visie en verwachtingen van de regisseur en producent enkele demo\u2019s zullen maken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praktisch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regisseurs en producenten met een filmproject dat in aanmerking komt, kunnen hun materiaal doorsturen naar <a href=\"mailto:industry@filmfestival.be?subject=Third%20Character\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">industry@filmfestival.be<\/a> tegen 1 augustus 2021. Het scenario (of specifieke sc\u00e8ne) wordt bij voorkeur in het Engels doorgestuurd, met daarin de aangeduide delen waarvoor een demo kan gemaakt worden. Bovendien kunnen richtlijnen rond de intenties en muzikale verwachtingen voor het filmproject meegestuurd worden. Tot slot moeten ook de technische fiche van de film, het CV (bio + foto) en de contactgegevens van de regisseur en de productiemaatschappij toegevoegd worden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De gesprekken tussen de regisseurs, producenten en de componisten zullen plaatsvinden op vrijdag 22 oktober 2021. Tijdens deze gesprekken zullen de componisten hun demo\u2019s en aanpak pitchen.
