Zaterdag ging in Antwerpen de tweede editie van Point Of U <\/em>van start, een\u00a0festival met workshops van o.a. Adil en Bilall.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Na het grote succes van de eerste editie van Point Of U<\/em>– Filmfest afgelopen zomer, gaan Adil El Arbi<\/strong> en Bilall Fallah<\/strong> ook dit jaar weer op zoek naar de makers van morgen. Het regisseursduo blijft nu even in het land, want begint binnenkort aan de opnames van hun nieuwe film Rebel<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Wanneer de opnames kunnen beginnen van hun Marvel<\/em>-serie, Beverly Hills Cop 4<\/em> en de volgende Bad Boys<\/em>-film is nog even onzeker door de pandemie. Ondertussen deed Bad Boys For Life<\/em> het erg goed het afgelopen jaar, hij stond bovenaan de box-office in 2020.<\/p>\n

Vorige week verkoos de burgerrechtenbeweging\u00a0National Association for the Advancement of Colored People\u00a0hem nog\u00a0als beste film. De actiekomedie,\u00a0met Will Smith<\/strong> en Martin Lawrence<\/strong> als twee detectives in Miami,<\/span>\u00a0is belangrijk voor de Afro-Amerikaanse gemeenschap.<\/p>\n

Adil en Bilall zijn dankbaar voor alle appreciatie, maar blijven er zeer bescheiden onder. De jongeren op Point Of U<\/em> kijken naar hen op, maar het duo zegt dat ze dat zelf niet echt merken. Ze vinden dat ze tenslotte ook nog maar aan het begin van hun carri\u00e8re staan en nog veel te leren hebben.<\/p>\n

De jongeren zullen tussen 3 april en 18 april verschillende corona proof workshops volgen zoals scriptontwikkeling, storytelling en regie. Vervolgens gaat de POU-squad over tot opnames en montages met de Samsung Galaxy S21.<\/p>\n

Point of U<\/u><\/a><\/em>\u00a0is een nieuw creatief festival met \u00e9\u00e9n doel voor ogen: jonge \u2013 rookie & pro \u2013 filmmakers, Youtubers, TikTokkers, vloggers en online video content freaks samenbrengen om te experimenteren en brainstormen over de toekomst van cinema. Point of U<\/em> is een initiatief van Hakuna Academy,\u00a0WAJOW,\u00a0De Studio en Stad Antwerpen.<\/p>\n

Bad Boys For Life<\/em> kan je o.a bekijken via Google\u00a0Play,<\/a>\u00a0Apple\u00a0TV<\/a>\u00a0 en\u00a0Streamz+.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
