In de LOOK! competitie wist deze film de prijs voor Beste Camera weg te kapen. En terecht. De getalenteerde, Belgische DOP in kwestie is Virginie Surdej. En C\u00e9sar Diaz, geboren te Guatemala, is de trotse regisseur van deze unieke parel. Nuestras Madres vertegenwoordigt Belgi\u00eb bij de Oscarinzendingen.
