Actrice Kim Snauwaert mocht de prijs in ontvangst nemen van festivalregisseur Miruna Berescu\u00a0 : &#8220;Regisseur Anke Blond\u00e9 zal heel blij zijn met deze prijs. Het was een geweldige eer om hier aanwezig te zijn&#8221;, zei ze nog bij de ontvangst van de Award, die gepaard gaat met een bedrag van 3.000 euro.<\/h3>\n<p>Sinds zijn wereldpremi\u00e8re in Rotterdam in januari, werd de film al op een hele resem internationale festivals uitgenodigd zoals o.a. Sydney, Galway, Edinburgh, Lucca en Beijing. Eerder mocht Anke ook al de prijs voor Beste Internationale Debuut in ontvangst nemen in Galway en kreeg de film een speciale vermelding op het filmfestival van Lucca (Itali\u00eb).<\/p>\n<p><em>The best of Dorien B.<\/em> komt op 11 september uit in de Belgische bioscoop (distributie KFD) en opent op vrijdagavond 6 september de dertiende editie van het Filmfestival Oostende.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Synopsis<\/strong><br \/>\nDorien B. heeft alles om gelukkig te zijn: een succesvolle man, twee schattige kinderen en een dierenartsenpraktijk vol kleine huisdieren. Maar wanneer ze haar ouders betrapt op jarenlang overspel en haar man wel erg close blijkt te zijn met een collega, begint ze te twijfelen. Een telefoontje met slecht nieuws is de druppel. Ze voelt zich verloren, kan bij niemand terecht.
