Eerder dit jaar kreeg de film op het Lucca Filmfestival in Itali\u00eb ook al een speciale vermelding van de jury, die werd voorgezeten door de Nederlandse acteur Rutger Hauer. We volgen de lotgevallen van Dorien (37) die alles heeft om gelukkig te zijn, een succesvolle man, twee schattige kinderen en een dierenartenpraktijk vol kleine huisdieren. Maar wanneer ze haar ouders betrapt op jarenlang overspel en haar man wel erg close blijkt te zijn met een collega, begint ze te twijfelen. Een telefoontje met slecht nieuws is de druppel. Ze voelt zich verloren, kan bij niemand terecht. Dorien evalueert haar leven, is dit het dan?<\/p>\n<p>Behalve Kim Snauwaert spelen ook Jelle De Beule, Katelijne Verbeke, Dirk Van Dijck, Robrecht Vanden Thoren en Wine Dierickx de pannen van het dak.<\/p>\n<p>Zaterdag was hoofdrolspeelster Kim Snauwaert op het Galway Film Festival te gast. Ze mocht er\u00a0<i>The Best Of Dorien B.<\/i>\u00a0aan\u00a0de talrijke filmliefhebbers van het festival voorstellen. Daarvoor mat ze zich de look van een Pulp Fiction-personage aan, omdat ze er zin had. Van de organisatoren kreeg ze te horen dat zij Anke Blond\u00e9s film fantastisch vonden. De reacties van het publiek waren bijzonder positief, er werd vaak gelachen, en na de vertoning volgde een Q&amp;A.
