Zij is met meer dan 1 miljoen abonnees de grootste Nederlandstalige vrouwelijke YouTuber. Naast het spelen van de hoofdrol\u00a0wordt\u00a0ook haar muziek in de film verwerkt. Overige\u00a0rollen zijn weer weggelegd voor Donny Roelvink, Niek Roozen, Gio Latooy, D\u00e9fano Holwijn, Jill Schirnhofer, Eddy Zo\u00eby, Bente Fokkens, Jolijn Henneman en Fenna Ramos. Onder de nieuwe gezichten zijn de Vlaamse actrices\u00a0<strong>Tinne Oltmans<\/strong> en\u00a0<strong>Tatyana Beloy<\/strong>, alsook\u00a0Sem van Dijk, Hanwe, Jeremy Frieser\u00a0en Jan Kooijman.<\/p>\n<p>Synopsis:<br \/>\nNadat Julia (Djamila) is teruggekomen uit Amerika voor het nieuwe schooljaar mag ze samen met Nick (Niek Roozen) meedoen aan een grote landelijke muziekwedstrijd: een droom die uitkomt. Maar wanneer Nick onverwacht van school switcht wordt hij helemaal ingepakt door multitalent Babette (Tinne Oltmans), die hem zelfs overtuigt om samen met haar een nummer op te nemen. Om Nick terug te halen \u00e9n de Battle of the Schools te winnen zit er niks anders voor Julia en haar Misfit-squad op dan samen te werken met hun eeuwige rivalen: de VIP squad!<\/p>\n<p>De film wordt geregisseerd door Erwin van den Eshof (MISFIT, Elvy\u2019s Wereld), de opnamen zijn vandaag gestart en vinden o.a. plaats in Amsterdam en Lisse.\u00a0De film wordt geproduceerd door NewBe in coproductie met Splendid Film, dat tevens de distributie in de Benelux verzorgt (in Belgi\u00eb verdeelt AKA Agency de film in opdracht van Splendid Film).<\/p>\n<p>Via het YouTube-kanaal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/linkedin.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=1344fd6edc7412639c256bd6a&amp;id=aad2e0eb0f&amp;e=d285f08ca7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MISFITdefilm<\/a>\u00a0kan iedereen op de hoogte blijven.
