{"id":215727,"date":"2018-12-19T12:51:20","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T11:51:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/?p=215727"},"modified":"2018-12-19T12:51:35","modified_gmt":"2018-12-19T11:51:35","slug":"hellhole-van-bas-devos-is-geselecteerd-voor-de-berlinale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/welovecinema.be\/nl\/hellhole-van-bas-devos-is-geselecteerd-voor-de-berlinale\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Hellhole&#8217; van Bas Devos is geselecteerd voor de Berlinale"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>&#8216;Hellhole&#8217;, de tweede speelfilm van Bas Devos, gaat in februari in wereldpremi\u00e8re op het prestigieuze Filmfestival van Berlijn, als onderdeel van de Panorama-sectie.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voor Bas Devos is het al de tweede selectie in Berlijn: zijn debuut &#8216;Violet&#8217; ging er in 2014 eveneens in wereldpremi\u00e8re en won er toen\u00a0de Grote Prijs van de Generation 14plus-sectie.<br><br>&#8216;Hellhole&#8217; (een film die eerst &#8216;Ascension&#8217; heette) is volgens de regisseur een film over de nasleep van de aanslagen van 22 maart, en zoomt in op drie verloren zielen in Brussel in het jaar 2016.\u00a0Tijdens zijn huisbezoeken ontmoet huisarts Wannes verschillende mensen. Een van zijn pati\u00ebnten, de jonge Marokkaan Mehdi, herinnert Wannes aan zijn eigen zoon Joris, een F16-piloot op missie in het Midden-Oosten. De Italiaanse Alba, tolk bij het Europese Parlement, zoekt een uitweg voor haar eenzaamheid en lusteloosheid in drugs en one-night stands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hellhole - Teaser - English subtitles\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cpVp4P4mbtM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>De opnames voor &#8216;Hellhole&#8217; vonden plaats in Brussel in de zomer van 2017. Voor de cinematografie deed Bas Devos, net zoals voor zijn debuut &#8216;Violet&#8217;, beroep op Nicolas Karakatsanis.
