De film zal de komende maand de hele wereld rondreizen met vertoningen in Iran, de Verenigde Staten, Zuid-Afrika, Roemeni\u00eb en Finland.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Deze week wordt &#8216;King of the Belgians&#8217; voorgesteld op de 35ste editie van het Internationaal Filmfestival van Fajr in Teheran, Iran (21 tot 28 april) waar Jessica Woodworth ook in de internationale jury zal zetelen. De film is de openingsfilm van het Panorama Europe Film Festival in New York (5 tot 21 mei), het European Film Festival van Zuid-Afrika (5 tot 14 mei) dat loopt in Johannesburg, Capetown, Durban en Pretoria en van het Internationaal Filmfestival van Transsylvani\u00eb in Cluj-Napoca, Roemeni\u00eb (2 tot 11 juni). De film werd eveneens geselecteerd voor de offici\u00eble competitie van het SEEfest in Los Angeles (27 april &#8211; 4 mei) en voor het Espoo filmfestival in Finland (5 tot 14 mei).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_98891\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-98891\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/king-the-belgians-blijft-reizen\/bts-1\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-98891\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-98891\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/04\/BTS-1-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-98891\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Peter Brosens en Jessica Woodworth op de set<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Onlangs ontving de film nog een <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/king-the-belgians-alweer-op-reis-en-nog-prijs\">eervolle vermelding<\/a> voor de publieksprijs op het 20ste Europees filmfestival van Chicago. &#8216;King of the Belgians&#8217; wordt in de loop van de komende weken uitgebracht in de Nederlandse, Spaanse en Tsjechische zalen. De film is sinds vorige maand bij ons verkrijgbaar op DVD.<\/p>\n<p>Be for Films vertegenwoordigt de film internationaal. &#8216;King of the Belgians&#8217; is een productie van Bo Films, in coproductie met Entre Chien et Loup in Belgi\u00eb, Topkapi Films in Nederland en Art Fest in Bulgarije.
