De film is een productie van EuroCorp, het productiehuis van de Franse regisseur<strong> Luc Besson<\/strong>. De Belgische coproducent is Belga Productions, dat er ook verantwoordelijk voor is dat <em>&#8216;D&#8217;apr\u00e8s une vraie histoire&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Roman Polanski<\/strong> met <strong>Eva Green<\/strong> en <strong>Emanuelle Seigner<\/strong> \u00a0deels in ons land gedraaid wordt.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Het gerucht ging al een tijdje dat &#8216;Kursk&#8217; in ons land gedraaid zou worden. \u00a0Tal van acteurs worden de voorbije maanden gecontacteerd om aan audities deel te nemen. voor de nieuwe film van Vinterberg. \u00a0Aanvankelijk zou de productie een jaar geleden al in Rusland van start gegaan zijn. Maar de Russische coproducent <strong>Andrei Sigle<\/strong> kreeg geen goedkeuring van de Russische overheid om te draaien.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/thomas-vinterberg-draait-kursk-matthias-schoenaerts-lint\/firthkursk\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-97556\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-97556\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/03\/FirthKursk.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"730\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a>De film gaat over de ramp\u00a0 met de Russische duikboot Koersk, die op de 12de augustus van het jaar 2000 met kernarsenaal aan boord naar de bodem van de Barentszee zonk, ten noorden van Rusland en Noorwegen. \u00a0Het verhaal is gebaseerd op de roman<em> &#8216;A Time to Die&#8217;<\/em> van <strong>Robert Moore<\/strong>, waaruit blijkt dat de hele ramp evenzeer een catastrofe was voor de PR van Poetin. \u00a0Geen wonder dat de Russen niet bepaald enthousiast zijn over de filmplannen van Vinterberg. \u00a0Robert Moore is een Brits journalist die destijds verslag bracht van de ramp en voor zijn boek kon terugvallen op informatie van tal van hooggeplaatste Russische militairen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/nl\/thomas-vinterberg-draait-kursk-matthias-schoenaerts-lint\/img_2715\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-97557\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-97557\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinevox.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/03\/IMG_2715-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of er nu nog op zee gefilmd wordt, is nog onbekend. Wel bekend is dat de opnames van &#8216;Kursk&#8217; voor een groot deel in het onderwaterbassin van de voormalige Alfacam-studio&#8217;s, nu de AED Studios, in Lint zullen plaatsvinden.
