Lorsqu\u2019elle apprend la mort de son ancien copain, les murs qu’elle a \u00e9rig\u00e9s autour d\u2019elle commencent \u00e0 se l\u00e9zarder. Elle se retrouve confront\u00e9e \u00e0 son fils Robin, 6 ans, qu\u2019elle a abandonn\u00e9 peu apr\u00e8s la naissance. L’irruption de cet enfant menace son autonomie ch\u00e8rement acquise et l\u2019expose \u00e0 des \u00e9motions profond\u00e9ment enfouies.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le Pass\u00e9 devant nous\u00a0\u00bb traite du conflit, profond\u00e9ment humain, entre la peur de l’intimit\u00e9 et le d\u00e9sir universel de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Dans ce film, c’est la relation m\u00e8re-enfant, o\u00f9 l’intimit\u00e9 inconditionnelle devrait aller de soi, qui met \u00e0 nu ce conflit. Que faire quand on ne r\u00e9pond pas \u00e9motionnellement \u00e0 la norme sociale ? Qu’est-ce qu’un lien de sang sans pass\u00e9 partag\u00e9 ? L’amour peut-il vaincre la peur?<\/p>\n
