Parcours inesp\u00e9r\u00e9, improbable, invraisemblable&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On peut l\u00e9gitimement estimer que les r\u00e9compenses sont relatives, et surtout secondaires en regard du film lui-m\u00eame, qui reste ce qu\u2019il est, avec ou sans lauriers. Mais pour moi, elles ne repr\u00e9sentent pas seulement la gratifiante cons\u00e9cration du travail de toute une \u00e9quipe (et quelle \u00e9quipe!). Elles ont \u00e9galement offert une nouvelle vie \u00e0 ce \u00ab\u00a0petit film\u00a0\u00bb que tant de gens souhaitaient soudain d\u00e9couvrir. Pas toujours pour de bonnes raisons, certes, mais le fait est que cela lui a assur\u00e9 une visibilit\u00e9 inou\u00efe \u2013 on oublie parfois que certains courts-m\u00e9trages rencontrent un plus large public que bien des longs. Elles ont en outre engendr\u00e9 de formidables rencontres, professionnelles ou non, jalonn\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9changes passionn\u00e9s et passionnants, notamment lors d\u2019une projection \u00e0 la prison de Lantin organis\u00e9e par Cin\u00e9vasion qui restera grav\u00e9e dans ma m\u00e9moire. Et nourrissent, in fine, la volont\u00e9 de voir ces vaniteux troph\u00e9es s\u2019\u00e9panouir \u00e0 travers un deuxi\u00e8me essai. Avec en guise de transition la r\u00e9alisation d&rsquo;un clip r\u00e9alis\u00e9 pour un groupe que j\u2019appr\u00e9cie particuli\u00e8rement : My Little Cheap Dictaphone. Tourn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019arrache le temps d\u2019une nuit \u00e0 Londres avec le g\u00e9n\u00e9reux concours de vieux comparses, il m\u2019aura permis de travailler avec Pauline \u00c9tienne, dont le talent n\u2019est (d\u00e9j\u00e0) plus \u00e0 prouver. Ainsi que les nouvelles p\u00e9pites pr\u00e9sum\u00e9es de Micha\u00ebl Roskam, Lucas Belvaux, Luc et Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Fabrice du Welz&#8230; Entre autres.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Je pourrais \u00e9galement \u00e9voquer mes craintes quant aux d\u00e9rives du tax shelter et aux r\u00e9formes ubuesques du statut d\u2019artis&#8230; pardon, de b\u00fbcheron, m\u00eame si je n\u2019ai jamais eu l\u2019honneur d\u2019en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier (mais j\u2019admets ma\u00eetriser moyennement l\u2019art de la tron\u00e7onneuse). Ou le probl\u00e8me grandissant de la distribution et de la visibilit\u00e9 des productions modestes dans la masse gargantuesque des sorties. Ou plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement celui de la place de l\u2019art (n\u2019ayons pas peur des gros mots) dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui, en p\u00e9riode de crise \u00e9conomique, croit devoir se dispenser de l\u2019\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0inutile\u00a0\u00bb au risque d\u2019alimenter une crise plus profonde, culturelle celle-l\u00e0. Mais ce serait long, compliqu\u00e9, et je ne voudrais pas plomber l\u2019ambiance quelques jours apr\u00e8s les Magritte, \u00e0 moins d&rsquo;un mois des C\u00e9sar, \u00e0 moins d\u2019un an de la nouvelle ann\u00e9e. Restons concentr\u00e9s sur l\u2019essentiel&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bonne ann\u00e9e 2014, donc! Dans les salles.
