Apr\u00e8s le spin-off Men in Black: International<\/em> en 2019, Sony Pictures a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de relancer la franchise principale. L’objectif affich\u00e9 est de renouer avec l’esprit et l’ADN comique des films originaux qui ont fait le succ\u00e8s de la saga, lanc\u00e9e en 1997.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour cela, Sony a fait appel \u00e0 Chris Bremner, connu pour avoir \u00e9crit les r\u00e9cents succ\u00e8s de la franchise Bad Boys<\/em> (notamment Bad Boys for Life<\/em>), un choix strat\u00e9gique visant \u00e0 insuffler un nouvel \u00e9lan au projet. Le studio mise sur le retour \u00e0 la \u00ab\u00a0formule gagnante\u00a0\u00bb pour reconqu\u00e9rir le public apr\u00e8s l’\u00e9chec critique et commercial du pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent film.<\/p>\n

Le sc\u00e9nario de Men in Black 5<\/em> serait \u00e9crit avec l’ambition de faire revenir Will Smith dans son r\u00f4le iconique de l’Agent J. L’acteur a incarn\u00e9 le personnage dans les trois premiers volets aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Tommy Lee Jones, contribuant largement au succ\u00e8s mondial de la saga. Mais, \u00e0 ce stade, rien n’est officiellement confirm\u00e9 concernant la participation de Smith.<\/p>\n

\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que le film est en d\u00e9veloppement tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9liminaire et qu’aucun r\u00e9alisateur ou acteur n’est officiellement attach\u00e9 (en dehors du sc\u00e9nariste), aucune date de tournage n’a encore \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e.
