Aujourd\u2019hui, je revisite ces films pour raconter une autre histoire : celle d\u2019une femme qui voit son ro\u0302le de me\u0300re lui enlever peu a\u0300 peu sa liberte\u0301.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">La m\u00e8re de Faustine est maquilleuse de cin\u00e9ma, son p\u00e8re est r\u00e9alisateur. Ce dernier la filme, elle et ses enfants, comme pour retenir le temps. Sur ces quelques VHS, c\u2019est une vie en acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 qui d\u00e9file. Mais au dos des images de la famille parfaite, c\u2019est l\u2019intranquillit\u00e9 qui surgit, celle de la m\u00e8re, ali\u00e9n\u00e9e par le pi\u00e8ge domestique qui se referme sur elle, enferm\u00e9e par le man\u00e8ge interminable d&rsquo;une vie qui tourne en rond. Elle qui r\u00eavait d&rsquo;une vie nomade se retrouve englu\u00e9e dans une vie s\u00e9dentaire, o\u00f9 la surprise et l&rsquo;impr\u00e9vus n&rsquo;ont plus leur place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Dans ce documentaire de l\u2019intime, narr\u00e9 \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re personne et nourri de films de famille, la cin\u00e9aste s\u2019interroge sur ce que la vie m\u00e9nag\u00e8re fait aux m\u00e8res.
