Tournage imminent pour Delphine Lehericey, Philippe Van Leeuw, les fr\u00e8res Dardenne, mais aussi Emmanuelle Nicot, Z\u00e9no Graton ou Caroline Strubbe, qui viennent de recevoir le soutien du fonds d’investissement r\u00e9gional screen.brussels.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour sa 16e session de soutien, le fonds d’investissement r\u00e9gional bruxellois screen.brussels<\/a> soutient 14 nouveaux projets, dont un podcast (Ecoute la ville qui brusselle<\/em>), et 6 longs m\u00e9trages belges, rien que \u00e7a, dont les tournages devraient pour la plupart avoir lieu cet \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Alors que son excellent dernier film, Le Milieu de l’horizon<\/em><\/a>, d\u00e9couvert au Festival de Namur, avec Laetitia Casta et Luc Bruchez, pourrait enfin sortir \u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e (on annonce le 29 septembre en France), Delphine Lehericey s’appr\u00eate \u00e0 tourner son 4e long m\u00e9trage, Last Dance<\/em>, com\u00e9die de l’\u00e2ge mur. \u00c0 75 ans, Germain vit une retraite contemplative, pratiquant un farniente ind\u00e9cent nourri d\u2019une l\u00e9g\u00e8re misanthropie. Lise, sa femme depuis 50 ans, s\u2019occupe de tout \u00e0 la maison et remplit avec bonheur son agenda d\u2019activit\u00e9s artistiques et b\u00e9n\u00e9voles. Le jour o\u00f9 Lise d\u00e9c\u00e8de brutalement, la vie de Germain est alors envahie par sa famille qui lui impose une surveillance dont il se serait bien pass\u00e9. Au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique, on retrouvera Fran\u00e7ois Berl\u00e9and, que l’on imagine d\u00e9licieusement acari\u00e2tre dans le r\u00f4le de Germain, mais aussi la danseuse Maria La Ribot, le jeune com\u00e9dien Kacey Mottet Klein (l’inoubliable h\u00e9ros de Keeper<\/em>, notamment), et c\u00f4t\u00e9 belge Astrid Whettnall, Jean-Beno\u00eet Ugeux, et la jeune com\u00e9dienne Elise Havelange. C’est Need Productions qui porte le film en Belgique.<\/p>\n

Autre tournage attendu cet \u00e9t\u00e9, celui du nouveau film des fr\u00e8res Dardenne, qui s’attaquent une fois de plus \u00e0 un sujet fort et sensible. Tori et Lokita<\/em> met en sc\u00e8ne l\u2019opposition entre l\u2019invincible amiti\u00e9 d\u2019un jeune gar\u00e7on et d\u2019une adolescente venus seuls d\u2019Afrique aux cruelles conditions de leur exil en Belgique. Au casting, on retrouvera quelques habitu\u00e9s des cin\u00e9astes, et notamment Baptiste Sornin (Deux jours une nuit<\/em>), Marc Zinga (La Fille Inconnue<\/em>) et Claire Bodson (Le Jeune Ahmed<\/em>). Ce sont une fois encore Les Films du Fleuve qui sont \u00e0 la manoeuvre.<\/p>\n

Tournage estival \u00e9galement pour Emmanuelle Nicot, remarqu\u00e9e avec son court m\u00e9trage multi-prim\u00e9 A l’arrach\u00e9<\/em>, s’appr\u00eate \u00e0 tourner L’Amour selon Dalva<\/em>, l\u2019histoire d’une jeune fille de 12 ans, brusquement retir\u00e9e du domicile paternel. Furieuse, elle n’en comprend pas les raisons. Plac\u00e9e dans un foyer et rescolaris\u00e9e, Dalva va progressivement comprendre que derri\u00e8re ce qu’elle a toujours nomm\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0amour\u00a0\u00bb, se cache autre chose. Le film est produit par H\u00e9licotronc, qui accompagne donc la r\u00e9alisatrice dans l’aventure du long m\u00e9trage.<\/p>\n

Z\u00e9no Graton, de son c\u00f4t\u00e9, frappe fort avec son film de fin d’\u00e9tudes, Mouettes<\/em>, Bayard du Meilleur CourtM\u00e9trage au Festival de Namur. Le Paradis<\/em> est une histoire d\u2019amour entre deux adolescents, Joe et William, prenant naissance dans un centre \u00e9ducatif ferm\u00e9 : Joe et William tombent amoureux. Ce drame romantique se tournera en octobre prochain. Si le casting pour les deux r\u00f4les principaux est en cours, on retrouvera au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique l’excellente com\u00e9dienne fran\u00e7aise Eye Haidara (Le sens de la f\u00eate, Un homme d\u2019honneur<\/i>) ainsi que Jonathan Couzini\u00e9 (Les h\u00e9ros ne meurent jamais, il \u00e9tait une seconde fois<\/i>). Le film est produit par Tarantula.<\/p>\n

On attendait avec curiosit\u00e9 le retour de Philippe Van Leeuw, qui apr\u00e8s nous avoir entra\u00een\u00e9s au Rwanda avec Le Jour o\u00f9 Dieu est parti en voyage<\/em>, et en Syrie avec Insyriated<\/em>, s’int\u00e9resse cette fois-ci avec The Wall<\/em> \u00e0 l’Am\u00e9rique post-Trump. Il y dresse le portrait d’une femme, Jessica Comley, membre de la Border Patrol \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re entre les USA et le Mexique o\u00f9 traversent de nombreux migrants. Tournage pr\u00e9vu aux USA dans quelques mois, avec Altitude 100 \u00e0 la production.<\/p>\n

Enfin, screen.brussels soutient \u00e9galement un long m\u00e9trage flamand de Caroline Strubbe, \u00e0 qui l’on doit notamment Lost Persons Area<\/em> et I’m the Same, I’m an Other<\/em>. The Silent Treatment<\/em> est un film sur la fa\u00e7on dont l’imagination et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 peuvent nous aider \u00e0 faire face aux traumatismes afin de faire la paix avec notre pass\u00e9. Il nous plonge dans l\u2019histoire de Tess, une jeune Belge de 18 ans assez \u00e9trange, souffrant du syndrome de Stockholm, qui traque \u00e0 Budapest un quarantenaire introverti, Szabolcs.<\/p>\n

Parmi les autres projets aid\u00e9s par le fonds, on retiendra \u00e9galement deux documentaires, Les Combattantes<\/em>, d’Henri de Gerlache, qui raconte l’itin\u00e9raire <\/span>de jeunes femmes engag\u00e9es, dans le sillage de Greta Thunberg, qui chacune \u00e0 leur mani\u00e8re, sont port\u00e9es par une \u00e9nergie unique capable de d\u00e9placer des montagnes, et Petites<\/em> de Pauline Beugnies (dont vous pouvez voir actuellement en ligne le dernier film, Shift<\/em><\/a>), r\u00e9cit libre de l\u2019Affaire Dutroux, racont\u00e9 par cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019enfants, aujourd\u2019hui adultes, expos\u00e9e bien trop t\u00f4t au sordide dans l\u2019intimit\u00e9 de leurs foyers.
