Depuis 10 ans, benuts est un centre cr\u00e9atif dans les effets visuels pour le cin\u00e9ma, la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, la sc\u00e9nographie et la publicit\u00e9. Benuts est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans la composition, le matte painting, les effets sp\u00e9ciaux, le motion design, la cr\u00e9ation de g\u00e9n\u00e9rique, la 3D photor\u00e9aliste, les FX Houdini, la supervision sur le tournage, le concept et la direction artistique. Parmi ses derni\u00e8res r\u00e9alisations belges? Jumbo<\/em>, ou encore Invisible<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Data Manager \/ IO manages and oversees the day to day running and on-going flow of the data. He works closely with production team to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data both to and from the facility and with the IT department to manage servers, disk space. She\/he incorporates and updates all required versions of visual effects shots into the current cuts of the VFX \/ live action sequences in order to create a functioning environment where the VFX Supervisors can evaluate any version of any shot in the current sequences at any moment.<\/p>\n

Responsabilities:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • management the incoming of data and edits and outgoing of data to clients and other facilities via FTP<\/li>\n
  • accurate check of data following the studio\u2019s nomenclature<\/li>\n
  • ensuring all material is processed, published and made available to our production teams and artists via Shotgun<\/li>\n
  • management of colour look up tables<\/li>\n
  • general data management including creating and deleting shots, moving shots from server to server and transferring data to other locations such as external drives<\/li>\n
  • file conversions and extractions from various formats such as dpx, exr, mov…<\/li>\n
  • monitoring the inhouse submission queue and liaising with production team on progress or problems and troubleshooting cross site transfers and uploads\/downloads<\/li>\n
  • ensure that published shots conform to the current edit and perform QC checks<\/li>\n
  • managing the internal edits of film sequences and shots via Hiero or Davinci Resolve<\/li>\n
  • running client and internal screening room review sessions<\/li>\n
  • managing the editing of inhouse reels including annual company reels, show reels, technical breakdowns<\/li>\n
  • general problem solving and working closely with the IT department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Knowledge of Nuke and Shotgun<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of colorspace, software and technology relating to the live action visual effects (OCIO, Aces)<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of digital cameras; Arri Alexa, RED One… and different file formats Knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve \/ Baselight is a plus<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge in editing on Avid Media Composer and Premie\u0300re Pro<\/li>\n
    • Management of EDL, AAF…<\/li>\n
    • Good working knowledge of computer systems, mainly Linux and FreeNas environments, through NFS protocols, autofs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The Data Manager \/ IO must be multi-tasker, pro-active, problem solver, able to achieve targets and determine priorities, customer service oriented, in continuous improvement regarding new technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
