Cette derni\u00e8re le coproduira avec sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de production Freckle Films (355, Eve, The Division) avec Versus Production et Mosaic. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 anglo-am\u00e9ricaine Anton Corp (qui a financ\u00e9 notamment Non-stop, Shaun the sheep) sera producteur d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 et financera ce projet..<\/p>\n<p>Voici le synopsis : Etats-Unis, d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es soixante. Dans un quartier r\u00e9sidentiel o\u00f9 les pelouses sont tondues au millim\u00e8tre sous la supervision d&rsquo;une arm\u00e9e d&rsquo;\u00e9pouses mod\u00e8les, deux meilleures amies profitent d&rsquo;une vie id\u00e9ale, entre petits d\u00eeners entre gens bien et robes de cr\u00e9ateurs. Mais apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;accident mortel de l&rsquo;un de leurs jeunes fils, le vernis des bonnes mani\u00e8res s&rsquo;\u00e9caille dangereusement pour faire place aux griffes ac\u00e9r\u00e9es de ces m\u00e8res bless\u00e9es. Est-ce que la parfaite \u00e9pouse vire parano\u00efaque, ou bien est-ce que sa voisine en deuil est secr\u00e8tement en train de mettre au point une revanche impitoyable impliquant son propre fils?<\/p>\n<p>Pour rappel, <em>Duelles<\/em> est l&rsquo;adaptation du thriller haletant de Barbara Abel, <em>Derri\u00e8re la haine<\/em>, affrontement psychologique impitoyable entre deux voisines, amies, m\u00e8res de famille hant\u00e9es par le d\u00e9c\u00e8s du fils de l&rsquo;une des deux, sous les yeux de l&rsquo;autre. Olivier Masset-Depasse a choisi de transposer cette histoire contemporaine dans les ann\u00e9es soixante, ajoutant au thriller une atmosph\u00e8re toute hitchcockienne. Ce choix est donc toujours d&rsquo;actualit\u00e9 pour le remake am\u00e9ricaine.<\/p>\n<p><em>Duelles<\/em> a remport\u00e9 d\u00e9but f\u00e9vrier pas moins de 9 Magritte du Cin\u00e9ma. Peut-\u00eatre le retrouvera-t-on d&rsquo;ici quelques mois aux Oscars?
