Apr\u00e8s <em>Girl<\/em> en 2019, la Cam\u00e9ra d&rsquo;Or revient \u00e0 nouveau \u00e0 une production belge, <em>Nuestras madres<\/em> de C\u00e9sar Diaz, un film produit par Need Productions. Une r\u00e9compense magnifique pour ce film fort et bouleversant sur les stigmates de la guerre civile au Guatemala, oeuvre de cin\u00e9ma et de m\u00e9moire. Les Dardenne quant \u00e0 eux poursuivent leur impressionnant parcours en remportant un 7e prix en S\u00e9lection Officielle \u00e0 Cannes pour <em>Le Jeune Ahmed<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Cam\u00e9ra d&rsquo;or pour Cesar Diaz<\/h4>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Pour sa force, son humilit\u00e9, et sa dignit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Les mots de Rithy Panh, pr\u00e9sident du Jury, Jury qui a d\u00e9sign\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;unanimit\u00e9 <em>Nuestras Madres<\/em> parmi les 26 films an comp\u00e9tition!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Guatemala, de nos jours. Ernesto, jeune anthropologue \u00e0 la Fondation m\u00e9dico-l\u00e9gale, travaille \u00e0 l\u2019identification des disparus de la guerre civile, et oeuvre pour rendre une dignit\u00e9 aux morts en leur offrant une s\u00e9pulture, et permettre le processus de deuil indispensable de toute une nation. Lui-m\u00eame est porteur d\u2019une qu\u00eate, celle de son p\u00e8re qu\u2019il n\u2019a pas connu, gu\u00e9rillero disparu pendant le conflit. Avec\u00a0<i>Nuestras Madres<\/i>, C\u00e9sar Diaz dresse \u00e0 travers le portrait de son h\u00e9ros Ernesto et de son entourage, le portrait d\u2019une r\u00e9silience collective, celle des victimes de la dictature militaire guat\u00e9malt\u00e8que. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le film avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 remport\u00e9 en fin de semaine le Prix SACD dans le cadre de la comp\u00e9tition de la Semaine de la Critique, ainsi que le Rail d&rsquo;or.<\/p>\n<h4>7e prix pour les Dardenne!<\/h4>\n<p>Et que dire de l&rsquo;incroyable parcours des fr\u00e8res Dardenne! 8e s\u00e9lection en comp\u00e9tition dans le cadre de la S\u00e9lection Officielle, et 7e prix, celui de la Mise en sc\u00e8ne!<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons voulu faire une ode \u00e0 la vie\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, affirme avec \u00e9motion sur sc\u00e8ne Luc Dardenne.<\/p>\n<p>Avec\u00a0<em>Le Jeune Ahmed<\/em>, les fr\u00e8res Dardenne reviennent \u00e0 l\u2019ADN de leur cin\u00e9ma, le portrait complexe, aussi pudique que direct d\u2019une jeune \u00e2me tourment\u00e9e, pr\u00eate \u00e0 tout pour accomplir sa qu\u00eate.\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">Un enfant pris dans le tourbillon de la radicalisation religieuse. S\u2019attaquant de front \u00e0 un sujet follement complexe voire p\u00e9rilleux, la radicalisation islamiste, les Dardenne le passe au filtre de leur cin\u00e9ma, un cin\u00e9ma direct empli d\u2019humanisme, pudique, mais sans concession. Le jury ne s&rsquo;y est pas tromp\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><em>Atlantique<\/em> et <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Enfin, on rel\u00e8vera le Prix du Jury attribu\u00e9 au film <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em> de Ladj Ny, co-\u00e9crit par Giordano Gederlini, \u00e9galement co-auteur de <em>Tueurs<\/em> de Fran\u00e7ois Troukens et Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Hensgens, et qui pr\u00e9pare son premier long m\u00e9trage, qu&rsquo;il tournera d\u00e9but 2020 avec Frakas Production. Le Grand Prix a quant \u00e0 lui \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 <em>Atlantique<\/em>, premier long m\u00e9trage de Mati Diop, coproduit en Belgique par Frakas Production, qui a d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment le vent en poupe!
