JC (Fran\u00e7ois Damiens), gardien de prison, est un homme sans histoires. Sa seule fantaisie, le tango, une fois par semaine.
\nUn soir de cours, il danse avec une nouvelle, Alice (Anne Paulicevich), la trentaine radieuse, m\u00e8re d\u2019un ado de 15 ans.
\nLe lendemain, il revoit cette femme au parloir de la prison. Elle rend visite \u00e0 deux prisonniers, Fernand (Sergi Lopez) et Dominic (Jan Hammenecker), deux vieux complices de toujours. L\u2019un est son mari, l\u2019autre son amant.
